My Husband's parents just celebrated their 30th anniversary. 30 YEARS!!! I LOVE love! And 30 years is a big deal!
I wanted to make them something special. Something personal. So I found out how they met (playing broom hockey) and I made them a little sign.
Here's what I used:
Wood from Joann's $6.99
Acrylic Paint $.59
Cricut
Expressions Vinyl (You can get it HERE)

I painted the sign first and it dried while I was cutting the vinyl. I individually placed all the letters on. It took a little while, but it wasn't hard. I love the way it turned out. I made it to match what they already have. I'm guessing they liked it, because it's already hanging it their living room! :)

I like to link up to THESE swell parties!

ReplyDeleteOh how beautiful. My husband and I will have been married 29 years in October. Isn't married life great.
What a darling idea, I am sure they LOVED it!!! My husband and I just celebrated 32 years YESTERDAY! Our grown daughters bought us an overnight stay at a hotel in Seattle for a quick get away. We did dinner & movie. So I totally appreciate your sweet sentiments to your in laws...they are lucky to have you as their daughter in law! :)
