I shared this over at Bear Rabbit Bear last week. Now I'm sharing it here with you! I hope you enjoy it!

Supplies Needed:
Two 12"tall x 9.5"wide Outer Fabric
Two 12"tall x 9.5"wide Fabric for Lining
Two 12" x 9.5" Pieces Fusible Fleece
Two 1.5" tall x 2.5"wide Fabric for Zipper Cover
5.5" x 21" Fabric for Ruffle
9" Zipper
Coordinating Thread
Iron

Let's start with the zipper! Grab the 1.5" x 2.5" fabric. Fold the ends inside 1/4 inch and iron. Then fold in half and iron. Place them around the ends of the zipper and pin. Carefully sew across the zipper.

Follow the directions on the fusible fleece and iron it to the wrong side of the outer fabric.

Take your ruffle piece and fold in the sides 1/4 inch and iron. Set your machine to it's largest strait stitch and sew over the folds. Do not back stitch.

Pull the thread to ruffle the fabric. Ruffle it up to the length of you clutch.

Pin the ruffle down the middle of your outer fabric.

Sew directly over your previous stitch.

Lay out your lining with the right side facing up. Place your zipper on top so the edge of your zipper lines up with the edge of your fabric.

Place your outer fabric directly on top with the right side facing down. Carefully pin an sew through all three layers. Don't sew too close to the zipper. I recommend using a zipper foot if your have one.

Repeat the last step with your remaining fabric on the other side of the zipper. When you pin it will look something like this. I hope that's not too confusing.

Open it up and iron.

Top stitch.

Unzip the zipper. Pin the outer pieces and the lining with the right sides facing each other. Tuck the zipper covers into the lining. Sew around the perimeter of the clutch leaving and opening in the lining.

Clip the corners. Turn right side out.

Sew the lining shut.

You're done!

Fill it up and fold it over!

I always love a POP of zebra print!
